The Gill group of companies employs approximately 140 people across five individual organisations. Between them they design and manufacture specialist sensors for use in demanding and advanced technology industries including motorsport, defence, marine and heavy industry. The group is privately owned and has embarked on an ambitious growth plan, involving significant investment and change.

Position Summary

Working within the Human Resources Department providing generalist HR assistance across the Gill group of companies

Specific Responsibilities

  • Recruitment administration, CV collation and recording, liaison with recruitment agencies, placing advertisements and arranging interviews

  • All HR administration requirements including new starter preparation and maintaining accurate personnel records

  • HR representation at multiple sites in Lymington

  • Co-ordination of training and development needs

  • Assist the HR Advisor with other duties as required

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years previous experience with a similar role

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive data

  • Full UK driving license
