Tracking the weather
Weather stations in solar parks provide data on solar radiation, temperature, humidity, wind and rain. This data indicates a possible increase or reduction in the efficiency of the park.
Measurement parameters
MaxiMet and MetConnect weather stations monitor solar park efficiency by utilising ISO9060 standard solar radiation sensors against energy forecasts, wind speed for panel loading which helps avoid panel damage, precipitation to assist with maintenance scheduling and external temperature sensors to monitor individual panel efficiency.
