Gill Tech Bites

We have prepared a fantastic line-up of experts for our daily Tech Bites you cannot afford to miss!

Our Product Managers Greg Koch and Mathew Middleton are gearing up to give some exciting sessions on upcoming products.

Greg joined Gill earlier this year and is a licensed professional engineer with significant new product development experience and five years of experience as a Product Manager within the environmental monitoring industry. Greg resides in Colorado and, outside the world of anemometers and weather stations, enjoys fly-fishing and camping.

Mathew has been with Gill for 10 years and worked as a research engineer for nine of those before moving into product management. He has a background in materials science and physics, and much of his time with Gill has been spent designing and optimising the core transducer technology that goes into our ultrasonic anemometers. This means Mathew is well placed to understand how our devices work and engage with customers on technical level to help resolve their real world issues and define future product solutions for Gill.

“I love innovation and particularly like efficient solutions that make the use experience as hassle-free as possible”.

The sessions will focus on the challenges people in the industry face every day and how the can be addressed.

Come to our stand everyday:

  • 11am: Effective measurement to safeguard workforce and maintain productivity through extreme event heat events
  • 1pm: Increasing reliability and accuracy in precipitation data while substantially reducing maintenance burden
  • 3pm: How connected technology simplifies complex sensor configuration and ongoing management
