OSIL Fulmar Buoy and Gill MaxiMet Enhance Coastal Environmental Monitoring
Coastal zones are under increasing threat from climate change, rising sea levels, and extreme weather events.
As part of the PREDICT project aimed at enhancing environmental monitoring and forecasting, a 1.9m OSIL (Ocean Scientific International Ltd) Fulmar buoy, equipped with advanced sensors and our MaxiMet GMX501 compact weather station has been deployed in Dublin Bay to collect real-time oceanographic and meteorological data.
