The WindObserver65, launched in October this year, is the newest member of the WindObserver range and is capable of providing wind speed (up to 65m/s) and directional (0-359°) data via 1 digital and optional analogue outputs. All the sensors within the range are environmentally protected to IP66 and offer multiple base, pipe and thread mount options. In addition to the anemometer display the MetPak weather station range will also be presented alongside the Gill rain gauge. If you would like to learn more about our products visit booth #913 or contact us to arrange a meeting at the show.

Gill Instruments Lead the Way with Innovative New Products at Meteorological Technology World Expo 2012

Gill Instruments exhibited at this year’s Meteorological Technology World Expo in Brussels on 16th – 18th October 2012, unveiling a number of new developments within the anemometers and weather stations range. The exhibition, targeted specifically at the meteorology industry, provided the ideal setting to network with top industry professionals and showcase technology innovations.

One of the products demonstrated at the show included the MetPak weather station mounted to a new marine grade bracket. The bracket reinforces the MetPak’s ability to withstand heavy vibrations found within extreme operating conditions, providing greater levels of stability.

Visitors to the stand were able to browse the range of anemometers and weather stations including the WindSonic M, WindObserver70 and WindObserver75, which were launched earlier this year.

WindSonic M generated a large amount of interest, with current customers commenting on its excellent performance, quality and durability, and how easy it is to integrate. The positive feedback received has contributed to a number of potential new global partners for the Gill Instruments product range.

Visitors were also able to gain an insight into Gill’s latest product development, the WindObserver65, which will be launched at the end of October. Featuring the same advanced ultrasonic measurement technology as the other anemometers within the WindObserver range, the WindOserver65 will monitor wind speeds up to 65m/s, features an optional heating system and full stainless-steel construction. The feedback received about WindObserver65 was extremely encouraging, with the product generating a great amount of interest ahead of the launch.

Exhibiting at Meteorological Technology World Expo 2012 was extremely beneficial for Gill Instruments, with a great deal of interest in the newly launched product ranges and fantastic feedback from our existing customers.

The sales teams are now busy following up on all the leads generated from the show and have already booked their place at Meteorology Technology World Expo 2013, stand 2030.
