How do I order a Gill accessory or spare part?
Order a Gill accessory by sending us the part number and the quantity you need through the enquiry form on this page. Accessories can be ordered with a new sensor or on their own, and we confirm price and delivery when we reply. If you do not have the part number, tell us the sensor model and what the part does and we will identify it.
Does my Gill sensor come with a connector?
Most Gill sensors ship with their mating connector, so a spare is only needed for a second installation or a replacement. WindSonic and MaxiMet ship with a mating connector, MaxiMet Marine ships with its M12 connector, and WindUltra ships with either a connector or a 2 m cable depending on the variant. WearDetect is the exception that needs a separate part: every installation needs a sensor head fitting to suit the port it screws into.
Where do I find the part number of an accessory?
The part number of a Gill accessory is printed on its label and on the packing list or delivery note it arrived with. Part numbers follow patterns such as 1405-PK-069 or 026-03156. Type the number, or any part of it, into the search at the top of this page and the list narrows to the matching parts.
Which cable length should I order for my sensor?
Choose the cable length from the distance between the sensor and the logger or controller it connects to, allowing extra for the route up the mast and any service loop. Pre-terminated cables come in fixed lengths such as 2 m, 10 m, 15 m and 20 m, and cut-to-length cable is sold per metre for longer or unusual runs. If the run is long, tell us the distance and the output you use and we will advise on the cable.
