RESEARCH 3-AXIS ULTRASONIC ANEMOMETER
R3-50
Research-grade 3-axis measurement at 50 Hz.
R3-50 is the 50 Hz member of the Research range, with the symmetrical head and the aluminium and carbon fibre build. It is specified for flux and turbulence work where 50 Hz is sufficient and the dataset has to stand up to review.

WHERE IT SITS
R3-50 in the Research range
Within the Research 3-Axis family the models differ by measurement range, output rate, build and approvals rather than by measurement principle.
MEASUREMENT

BEFORE YOU SPECIFY
Is the R3-50 the correct configuration?
Before specifying, confirm:
- the wind speed range the site actually sees
- the output rate the receiving system needs
- the operating temperature and whether heating is required
- any approval or certification the installation demands
- the mounting arrangement and cable or connector choice
- the interface and output the receiving system expects
If those match, the R3-50 provides that configuration.
