Meet the people behind the measurement

Gill engineers and technical specialists attend selected trade shows, conferences and industry events around the world. Find upcoming events, see what we are bringing and arrange time with the people who know the technology rather than trying to catch them between conversations.

RE+ 2026

Las Vegas Convention Center, United States

North America’s largest clean energy event. The conversations worth having here are the tracker stow decision, wind measurement for site assessment and turbine control, and what a sensor with no moving parts changes about maintenance on a large site.

Gill is attending without a stand. Arrange a time and a place to meet the team.

Attending without a stand

Gill engineers are at RE+ to meet customers and partners rather than to exhibit, so there is no stand to visit and no instruments on display.

Tell us in advance what you want to discuss and we will arrange a time and a place at the venue.

Planning to attend? Let us know what you’d like to explore, and we’ll arrange for the right technical expert to be available when you arrive.

The useful conversation starts where the brochure stops

A trade show is most valuable when you can ask the question that does not fit neatly into a product brochure. Gill’s event teams include engineers and technical specialists who understand our instruments, their applications and the conditions in which they operate. If you have a specific application to discuss, want to examine a particular instrument or need to speak to someone with specialist knowledge, arrange a meeting in advance and we’ll make sure the right person is there.

Make the conversation count

  • Book time in advance. Busy shows are rarely conducive to detailed technical conversations. Arrange a time and we’ll make sure the right person is available.
  • Bring the application. The best discussions start with the measurement requirement, operating environment and system it needs to work within. Bring the awkward detail. That’s where things get interesting.
  • Tell us what you want to see. If there’s a particular instrument, configuration or application you want to examine, let us know in advance and we’ll make sure the right equipment and expertise are available on the stand.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which events does Gill attend?

Gill attends selected trade shows, conferences and industry events covering areas such as meteorology, marine, renewable energy, industrial measurement and environmental monitoring. The event programme changes from year to year. Check the current event listings for confirmed appearances.

Can I arrange a meeting with a specific Gill engineer?

Where schedules allow, yes. Tell us the event, the subject you want to discuss and the engineer or area of expertise you are looking for. We will confirm availability and identify the appropriate person.

Can I see a specific instrument at an event?

If you want to examine a particular instrument or configuration, tell us before the event. We can confirm whether it will be available and, where practical, arrange for it to be brought to the stand.

Can I discuss a new application at an event?

Yes. Events are a useful opportunity to discuss measurement requirements before selecting an instrument. Provide the application, measurement required, operating environment and system interface if known, and the appropriate technical specialist can prepare for the conversation.

Can I arrange a demonstration?

Where the event format and equipment allow, demonstrations can be arranged. Contact Gill in advance with the instrument or measurement technology you want to see.

Can I visit Gill outside an event?

Yes. Gill’s engineering, manufacturing, testing and calibration operations are based in Lymington, Hampshire. Contact the team to discuss whether a visit is appropriate for your application or project.

Make time for the technical conversation

Tell us which event you are attending, what you need to measure and what you want to discuss. We will help arrange the appropriate conversation before the show gets busy.
