Introducing WindUltra, 2-axis anemometer

Gill WindUltra – a step forward in compact, high quality, ultrasonic wind sensing

WindUltra is Gill’s newest 2-axis anemometer offering high performance combined with toughness, compact design and rapid installation and alignment features, while still delivering the high accuracy ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensing that Gill is renowned for.

WindUltra offers:

☑️ Highly reliable & accurate solid-state sensors
☑️ Space efficient design
☑️ Easy configuration
☑️ Innovative features for rapid installation and alignment
☑️ Extreme robustness with high IP ratings (IP69k, IP68, IP66)
☑️ Built-in heating

WindUltra is designed for use in a wide range of land and marine applications for providing stand-alone measurements or as part of a larger measurement or monitoring system. WindUltra’s rapid installation and alignment features include a choice of two pole mounts, either a twist-lock 1” (25-26mm) pole mount or 1.75-2” (44-51mm) band-clamp pole mount. The sensor unit can be easily ‘unclicked’ from either of the pole mounts to reveal alignment features integral within the pole mounts themselves.

Fantastic achievement by Saildrone to gain a Guiness World Record for the highest wind speed recorded by a USV. We're very proud to say they chose a Gill WindMaster 3-axis ultrasonic anemometer as part of their Saildrone platform to measure wind speed and direction.

We are very pleased to announce that Gill Group has been shortlisted in the Supply Chain Excellence category of the Manufacturer MX Awards 2023!
